Professor Radasanu is associate professor in Political Science. She is a specialist in early modern liberal thought, the history of international relations, and has an abiding interest in the subject of women in the history of political thought. Most recently, she has completed an edited volume entitled In Search of Humanity: Essays in Honor of Clifford Orwin in which she contributes a paper on Thucydides ("The Tragedy of Demosthenes"). She is also working on a book manuscript on Montesquieu's views on international relations. Professor Radasanu is an NIU Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching Award recipient (2012), and is the recipient of a teaching grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (Enduring Questions Program).
