American Government and Public Law

The concentration in American government and politics allows graduate students to study a wide variety of topics within a rigorous program emphasizing empirical analysis, methodological pluralism, and theory-building. Students interested in the areas of public law, women and politics and issues related to political behavior such as voting, public opinion, political culture, judicial behavior, comparative regulation, political psychology, and small group decision making are especially encouraged to apply.
