Three Northern Illinois University political science students were inducted into the Zeta Gamma chapter of the Phi Beta Delta Honor Society. Ph.D. student Theresa Eckard and undergraduate majors Susie Thomas and Eldin Tringovski were inducted at a ceremony during NIU's Division of International Programs' international week. Rebecca Steffenson, an instructor in the political science department, was also inducted. Provost Raymond Alden spoke at the ceremony which recognizes the scholarly achievement of international students and scholars who have studied abroad and faculty and staff who are involved in international activities. Professor Kurt Thurmaier, also a member, represented the Political Science department at the event.
